September 3rd, 1913 - CAA is Formed:

The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) is formed. Providing roadside assistance, insurance services and member discounts!

 

September 5th, 1885 - First Gas Pump:

The first ever gasoline pump is built in Fort Wayne, Indiana. However this pump is not used for automobiles as they were not yet invented, but as we know now the gas pump is the main way of putting gas in our vehicles even though it was first built to fill up lamps and stoves that burned fuel!

 

September 8th, 1903 - First Harley:

The first ever Harley-Davidson is revealed to the public. It was built to be a racer, with a 3-1/8 inch bore and a 3-1/2 inch stroke!

 

September 19th, 1909 - Ferry Porsche is Born:

Ferry Porsche is born in Austria. He would go on to run one of the most famous automobile companies in the world.

September 16th, 1908 - GM is Founded:

General Motors is founded in Flint, Michigan by William "Billy" Durant. Billy made GM one of the biggest companies in America!

September 22nd, 1953 - 4 Level Highway

The first four level highway is built just outside of Los Angeles, California!
